WHO SHOULD ATTEND
No previous experience is required. Anyone with an interest in better understanding how trends can influence creative and product design strategy is welcomed to attend. Attendees will benefit from bringing a laptop computer to use for research.

INSTRUCTORS
Marieke van der Poel, Proef
Marieke is founder and Chief Creative of trend forecasting agency Proef. She is an applied trend forecaster who translates long-term consumer trends into actionable brand strategy and product development direction for brands like Samsung, Sol Republic, Cisco, Piperlime, Carhartt and Kaiser Permanente. Her experience ranges from fashion editing in Europe, leading magazine and photo shoot concepts from Milan to the Netherlands, to long standing roles within major international trend forecasting agencies Peclers Paris and ESP Trend Labs in the US.
Frank H Vial, Proef
Frank, a member of Proef's network of cultural associates, is a creative strategist who helps clients explore, envision and evolve their brands. Before starting his company, flux21:group, Frank worked as consultant to leading design firms in San Francisco and as a brand strategist at Landor in the US and Asia-Pacific. He led brand strategy and branding programs, ranging from entertainment to energy, for startups to Fortune 500 clients.
