Description
Come enjoy our Work-in Progress performance of Inspira: The Power of the Spiritual.
An inspiring mashup of African American spirituals, classical, jazz and spoken word that commemorates the 150th anniversary of the 13th Amendment and the 25th anniversary of Tiananmen Square.This performance is not finished, but we want to share our progress with the community! We also invite the community to make art in response to Ferguson, the killing of Eric Garner, and other aspects of our criminal injustice system. So you'll get to sing, draw, and/or write out your feelings, concerns and hope. See you at the Candy Factory, Lancaster's Sweetest Co-Working Space. Appropriate for ages 8 and up.
