ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Welcomed Space for EVERYONE INSILC is dedicated to making all of our meetings, trainings, events and functions welcoming, comfortable spaces for EVERYONE, whether onsite or online.

For this INSILC Workshop Series, live stream participation via Zoom is offered to help eliminate transportation barriers for our peers with disabilities and for individuals with other barriers. Our onsite venue is accessible with free accessible parking spaces at the back of the building and several more free parking spaces offered on each side of the building. All workshop materials and activities can be provided in a format to meet your access and language needs. Live captioning (CART) will be provided onsite and via live stream for each workshop. ASL and other language interpreters can also be provided, if needed. Onsite restrooms are accessible, family and caregiver/attendant friendly and gender-neutral.

For any other access needs, please don't hesitate to let us know how we can best accommodate you. Contact: Morgan Daly at mdaly@insilc.org

ADVICE - Please keep in mind that some access needs and materials may take a bit more time to prepare/arrange/secure. Therefore, the sooner you can contact us to make requests, the better.

Voting Rights, Are Civil Rights INSILC strongly believes in supporting Voting Rights and will offer workshop participants the opportunity to register to vote prior to the start of each workshop in the series. Voter registration will take place at the onsite workshop venue 30 minutes before each workshop starting at 4:00 p.m. EST. If you would like our assistance in registering to vote or assistance with updating your voter registration, please be sure to bring your government issued ID with you.

Expand Your Reach and Flex Your Voice INSILC recognizes social media can be a powerful (and accessible) advocacy tool to accomplish desired policy outcomes. Learning how to develop and take part in a strong social media campaign will be part of this workshop series. For workshop participants who currently do not have any social media accounts and would like assistance in creating any of these in order to engage in our social media campaigns, please don't hesitate to let us know. Contact: Morgan Daly at mdaly@insilc.org

YOU Decide! INSILC is a non-partisan, non-profit organization. All of the workshops for this series are also non-partisan and all activities are voluntary.
