Description

ACRP's Insight Event, Forum on Economic and Social Sustainability at Airports, aims to help airports and their stakeholders discuss and learn about framing, planning, implementing, reporting, and communicating social and economic initiatives in order to fully realize triple bottom line sustainability benefits. Participants of this Insight Event will:

Envision economic and social sustainability in new ways;

Learn about state-of-the-art practices, including ways to combat human trafficking;

Explore sustainability’s effects on financial and legal risk management;

Generate methods for using language to effectively communicate economic and social sustainability;

Engage with other airport practitioners, the private sector, and educational institutions, to discuss business perspectives and regulatory issues, as well as further cross-cutting initiatives supporting economic and social sustainability;

Benefit from networking opportunities, including an evening reception and volunteer event.

This event is free and open to any and all airport practitioner and sustainability professionals. Seating will be limited. Registration is required. Please note, May is high tourist season in Washington, D.C., so attendees are strongly encouraged to book travel and accommodations early.
