The Joffrey Academy Parents' Association presents
Inside the Academy:
"Growing Smart with Dance"
Thursday, October 15, 2015
Taking care of your body is fundamental to becoming a successful dancer. The Parents' Association invites you to join us for a discussion about injury prevention and good nutrition. Presenters will include an Athletico physical therapist, a Sports and Dance Medicine physician, and one of our very own Trainees, Saskia Gregson-Williams, who has recently published a cookbook about healthy eating! Dancers will get great tips on how to keep their bodies well-fueled and in good shape.
The discussion is geared to Pre-Pro III-VI, Youth II-IV students. Students may have an adjusted class schedule on Thursday to attend the lecture, and should be picked up after the lecture ends at 7:30 PM, or after their class ends at 8:30 PM. Families are welcome to accompany their student to this discussion.
Please RSVP and we hope to see you there! (Pre-Pro students do not need to RSVP.)
