Join us for this partial day event where we will learn skills and tools to identify and address implicit biases in the workplace!

Agenda

9:30-10am - Registration

10-11:30am - Keynote presentation by Dr. James Taylor

11:30am-12noon - Lunch (provided)

12-1:30pm - Panel Education Session (1.5 credits) - Understanding Implicit Bias and its Impact on Healthcare Leadership

1:30-3:30pm - Knowledge Cafes (Breakout Sessions) - Overcoming Bias in Medical Professional Settings

3:30-4pm - Closing remarks and networking

Participants will learn skills and tools to identify and address implicit biases in their workplaces. they will have the opportunity to hear how leading experts in the field navigate these challenges as well as dive deeper into how implicit bias can manifest among specific, vulnerable populations. The topics and speakers align with current conversations taking place at the national and local level, stimulating relevant and insight-driven discussions. Attendees will walk away with a greater appreciate for diversity in the professional and personal lives.
