THE PROGRAM

SCAD Collaborative Learning Center (CLC) is offering a 3-day intensive program to heighten individual's career potential and add value to organizations with key learning outcomes of innovation through Service Design. We will equip our participants with skills and resources to envision and shape the future of industry, spearhead positive evolution of corporate culture and process, effectively manage multidisciplinary teams, and efficiently overcome innovation roadblocks.

THE LECTURERS

Mauricio Manhaes | Mauricio Manhaes is a Professor of Service Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design and an Associate Design Researcher at Livework, Brazil. In 2015, he obtained a doctoral degree in Knowledge Management at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil, with the thesis "Innovativeness and Prejudice: Designing a Landscape of Diversity for Knowledge Creation." He often conducts workshops, classes, and lectures on service innovation around the globe.

Xenia Viladas | Economist and MBA by training, Viladas has been teaching Service Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design since 2014. She has serveral publications in the market, as well as an extensive curriculum of international lecturing. As a consultant, she specializes in strategy and management for small and medium sized companies and design agencies.
