Event description

Description

This April at the Innovation Lab we welcome Karen Leach, Service Manager for Community Health & Wellbeing in the States of Guernsey, as our guest speaker. She will be sharing her experiences of the Churchill Fellowship which is a research grant from the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust that funds individuals to travel for 4-8 week, anywhere in the world, to research a topic of their choice and return to share their learning with their communities.

Karen successfully applied to travel to Alaska and New Zealand to carry out research into their health and wellbeing care systems. She will be sharing some of her experiences including information and advice about the application process and why she thinks everyone should consider applying for the Churchill Fellowship.

Find out more about this life-changing opportunity to research new ideas in a subject you are passionate about by registering for your free space for this event.
