Innovation Games for Civic Engagement
Friday, January 17, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (PST)
San Jose, CA
Join the Every Voice Engaged Foundation, Conteneo CEO and Budget Games inventor Luke Hohmann (and more special guests!) for a one-day certification workshop on using serious games for civic engagement on January 17, 2014.
The Every Voice Engaged foundation advocates for and employs serious games to bring citizens, governments, nonprofits -- entire communities -- together to build a better world. Using games to solve serious social problems may sound radical, but it’s rooted in the work Conteneo (formerly the Innovation Games® Company) has used for over a decade with such companies as Cisco, Yahoo!, Reed Elsevier, Adobe, VSP and others. And backed by successful Budget Games events for the City of San José, CA, and Kotrijk, Belgium, and countless pro-bono events by the community, including working with Grameen America and the PDMA to fight poverty.
Thanks to our Sponsors!
