Starting a company is an emerging goal for many people. An idea is great but most great ideas need funding to get off the ground. Our October seminar will discuss company formation and a few models on how to start a new business. Speakers from the NHICC, Borealis Ventures, and Michigan Aerospace will discuss how they try to get new ideas off the ground.
The seminar will be followed by cocktails and networking from 5:30-7:00pm at Ballard's in downtown Durham courtesy of seminar sponsors Devine Millimet, Pierce Atwood, Ropes & Gray, and Salient Surgical Technologies.
The Innovation Catalyst Seminar Series, hosted monthly, discusses relevant issues related to commercializing UNH’s innovations, including current and emerging best practices on campus.
The seminars are open to all and designed to be a meeting place for innovators, entrepreneurs, service providers, and anyone else interested in how the university innovations of today represent the information and opportunities of tomorrow.
