Sometimes musical performances offer more than just beautiful compositions, and that’s the case with Polonaise-Fantasie, the Story of a Pianist. This hybrid recital-monologue is an autobiographical story of pianist, Inna Faliks. Her story will appeal to anyone who can relate to the trials that come with immigrating to a new country while trying to make their way in the world of music. With music from Bach to Chopin to Gershwin, Polonaise-Fantasie is an unforgettable coming of age story told as only Faliks can. Inna says, “It is my hope that, in sharing this story, I offer audiences a glimpse into the life of a performing musician, as well as my very personal story – the story that makes me the artist I am today.”
