Silicon Valley Progressive Faith Community is an emerging progressive church actively engaged in personal and social transformation. We are a spiritual startup of progressive Christians, agnostics, spiritual independents and other people of conscience who want to live with purpose and joy in a community rooted in love.
This is our very first Ingathering, which is a ceremony to welcome new members. This is for early adopters of our vision and mission.
Join us for this worship service where we will give thanks for this new radically inclusive, deeply spiritual, unapologetically progressive, theologically diverse faith community and share words of covenant, joining one another on a shared spiritual journey.
If you love who we are and are interested in joining, you are invited to email Rev. Nicole Lamarche email@example.com.
Joining means you are ready to contribute to the life of our new congregation with your time, your gifts and your resources. We welcome all who want to grow in love to claim this community as a spiritual home!
We envision a radically inclusive, deeply spiritual, unapologetically progressive, theologically diverse church, actively engaged in personal and social transformation.
We are a faith community bound together by a shared commitment to grow in love. We accomplish this by:
extending and receiving extravagant welcome and hospitality
nurturing our inner lives to be more whole
uniting as agents of social change for the common good
living in the ways of love, peace, joy, and justice found in the teachings of the radical, mystical Jesus as well as the wisdom of many traditions
-To be and become a community of faith and kindness.
-To honor our diversity by supporting and encouraging the personal and spiritual growth of others, acknowledging each person’s unique path.
-To extend and receive extravagant hospitality and to welcome people of all kinds.
-To nurture our inner lives to be more whole, as we live with purpose and joy in a community grounded in love.
-To join one another as agents of social change for the common good, for the healing of our planet and all creation.
-To live in the ways of love, peace, joy, and justice found in the teachings of the radical, mystical Jesus as well as the wisdom of many traditions.
