Description
The Translational Research Program (TRP) in Health Science is a NEW 2-year professional Masters program that trains students as translators to help advance and accelerate research towards measurable positive impact on human health (benchside to community).
The program develops skills in areas such as:
• Using science to come up with ideas to address gaps in health care;
• Design thinking;
• Networking and leadership;
• Translating new scientific discoveries into projects, products, policies or processes that improve human health;
• Improving access and improving the coordination of systems of care; and,
• Helping clinicians and patients to change behaviors and make more informed choices.
