About this event
A free training designed for help-desk, information hotline, front-line volunteers and other staff who work with the public to provide information about programs and services for older people in Marin. Specialists will share their expertise and resources through presentations and audience Q&A.
This workshop will focus on end-of-life resources for Marin residents and self-care for front-line workers. AAI will also offer a workshop on October 15 on basic resources for older adults. Register for the October 15 workshop here: https://informandconnect2019.eventbrite.com
A free networking lunch will be provided. You must register by November 1 to receive lunch.

November 12 Agenda:
Morning (9am-12:30pm):
- Death Cafe (open, small-group discussions about death and dying More info.)
- Spirituality at end of life (perspectives and practices from different faiths)
Lunch (12:30-1pm)
Afternoon (1-4:30pm):
- Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment and Advanced Health Care Directives
- Aging-in-place
- Residential choices

Front-line volunteers and staff who support the resource referral needs of older adults.
