Information On Demand Technical Unconference
IBM is hosting an unique industry event where YOU set the agenda. Make your voice heard at this participant-driven unconference to be held during Information On Demand 2012 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. The Technical Unconference is open to conference attendees, students, professors, as well as local IT pros, developers, and architects.
You and your fellow attendees will lead and participate in discussions around all facets of the future of data. We invite you to submit your ideas for what topics should be on the Unconference agenda and vote on the best of your peers' ideas.
What is an Unconference??
The Information On Demand Technical Unconference is a participant-driven conference with little structure, where the attendees drive the agenda and freely form new discussions and sub-groups as ideas emerge.
We’ll begin with an hour of lightning talks: each presenter gets 5 minutes to cover a timely and relevant topic. You and the other attendees will suggest and then select the topics through a voting process.
After the lightning talks, we will break into one or more open discussion groups to explore the topics you’ve chosen. This is the opportunity to share how you are shaping the future of data and learn how your peers are doing the same. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to join – and create – the conversation.
