Hosted by Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia

Do you seek grant funding in support of computer games, virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) and other highly interactive digital content? Pro Helvetia supports projects which have potential to reach international markets with innovative and high quality content.

We will show you best practice in how to prepare your submission for the next Call for Projects (deadline for submissions to the Call is March 1st 2020). You will hear from experts from industry and grant fundiing schemes, and see previous successful applicants on what makes a viable project and application package. Topics for the event will include writing/improving a business plan, writing a game design document, preparing a prototype for submission, and identifying a clear marketing strategy.

The workshop will be delivered in english.

16:30 Meet a member of the Interactive Media Jury: Erinrose Sullivan, Digital Marketer and Strategist

Erinrose is an experienced jury member at Pro Helvetia, having particpated in many previous Call for Projects. Erinrose will offer her perspective on marketing strategy for interactive projects, and effective communication to potential investors and supporters.

Who is this event intended for?
Studios, creative companies or small teams who wish to make an application for grant funding of an interactive media project based in Switzerland. In some cases, individuals working alone on projects successfully apply for funding, but it is less common due the difficulty in reaching sufficient project scale and ambition.

What time does the event start formally?
16.00. Please arrive some minutes before to get seated.

Some drinks and snacks will be provided

What are the transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

On foot (5 minutes)
Leave the station eastwards (ascent Neuengasse), follow the street "Bollwerk" for 5 minutes. House number 35 opposite the parking Schützenmatte.

By bus (1 minute)
Get on bus no. 20 directly in front of the station and get off at the first stop "Bollwerk". Then walk ~50 meters back.

By car
Car park Schützenmatte or underground parking "Metro" at Waisenhausplatz 19, 3011 Bern.

Should I bring my printed ticket to the event?

As long as we can identify you, you don't need to print a ticket.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Tickets are not transferable. If you have registered and are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket via the eventbrite page so that we can offer the place to someone else.
