Enrolment is now open for Secure That Cert!’s (ISC)² Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Study Group!

WHAT IS IT & WHO IS IT FOR?Obtaining the (ISC)² CISSP designation proves that you have what it takes to effectively design, implement and manage a best-in-class cybersecurity program. Having your CISSP opens doors, increases your earning potential, and adds credibility to your resume.

This study group is a comprehensive review of information security concepts and industry best practices and focuses on the eight domains of the CISSP CBK (Common Body of Knowledge) that are covered in the CISSP exam.Secure That Cert! is launching a 16-session (over 10 weeks) program designed to cover material from the eight topical domains.

Secure That Cert! brings to the community a budget-friendly alternative to learn new skills and get certified. Rather than spend thousands of dollars on a 5-day course where you are expected to drink from the fire hose, try a different approach!INFORMATION SESSION (FREE)To kick off the 16-session study group, we would like to invite you to a FREE information session for a detailed overview of what our program offers and answer all of your questions.

This free information session will be held on Monday, September 16, 2019, at 6 pm with the course commencing on September 30th, 2019.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSTo qualify for the CISSP, candidates must pass the exam and have at least five years of cumulative, paid work experience in two or more of the eight domains of the (ISC)² CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK®).A candidate who doesn’t yet have the required experience to become a CISSP may become an Associate of (ISC)² after successfully passing the CISSP exam. The Associate of (ISC)² will then have six years to earn the experience needed for CISSP certification.ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONIn addition to attending study sessions facilitated by guest subject-matter experts (SMEs), participants get their own hardcopy of the (ISC)2 CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional Official Study Guide (CHAPPLE) and access to learning material. A light snack is also provided at each study session.

Please note that the cost of the (ISC)² CISSP exam voucher is NOT included in the study group fees. The(ISC)² CISSP exam is administered by Pearson Vue on behalf of (ISC)².
