Description

Please join us for an informational session to learn about three opportunities to join an accelerator program in Spring 2020.

This session will provide information about the following programs, followed by a Q&A session:

NYC Media Lab Combine

Now recruiting early stage, university-affiliated startups for it's fifth year, the Combine matches faculty and students working on new technologies emerging from universities with a lean process to advance customer discovery and business model generation. Throughout the program, NYC Media Lab provides teams with the guidance, funding, opportunities, and leadership tools needed to commercialize and reach a product-market fit for their startup concept. All faculty and students from accredited NYC universities are eligible to apply to the program. To learn more, please contact info@nycmedialab.org.

Columbia | IBM Blockchain Accelerator Program

The Columbia | IBM Blockchain Accelerator is a non-dilutive set of programs for building and scaling successful blockchain companies. The goal of the program is to help the best emerging blockchain companies succeed through education, mentorship, and business model design. As a pillar of the new Columbia IBM Center for Blockchain and Data Transparency, IBM and Columbia University are partnering to offer top blockchain companies from around the world a customized program with education from industry and academic research experts, hands-on value-added workshops, active mentoring and curated customer meetings. To learn more and get involved, please visit the program page or contact: js5085@columbia.edu.

Cyber-NYC Inventors to Founders Program

Inventors to Founders (I2F) is an early stage startup accelerator and talent network for NYC cybersecurity startups. Inventors to Founders is developing accelerator programs and funding structures to catalyze the commercialization of cutting-edge research and development of academia-affiliated startups in New York City. Accelerator participants receive mentorship, access to a world-class network and dilutive and non-dilutive seed capital. A joint venture between Columbia University and the New York City Economic Development Corporation, the Inventors to Founders program is the early-stage launchpad for the Cyber NYC’s $100 M initiative.
