Inflection Vol. 12 Launch

Please join us for a night of talks, drinks, music and food, alongside a panel discussion on ‘Love’, the theme of this year’s volume with a few of our contributors.

Access

There is wheelchair access from the paved paths in the park to MPavilion, with a short distance on the grass to reach the structure. From the nearest parking/taxi drop-off point on St Kilda Road, it is approximately 60 steps to reach the venue.

Seating inside the venue will be stools and a bench against one wall of the pavilion. Please note there is limited seating is available inside the venue.

MPavilion is an outdoor venue with only partial cover. Half of the pavilion is made up of a shallow pool of water.

A Changing Places Toilet is located at Hamer Hall (100 St Kilda Road Southbank) on Level 3, near the south lift. Users will be provided with a Master Locksmith Access Key (MLAK) to open the door. There are Public Toilets located in Queen Victoria Gardens, 150m south of the venue.

Getting there

By Train

The nearest train station is Flinders Street Station. From there it’s a short tram ride or walk south along St Kilda Road towards Queen Victoria Gardens.

By Tram

The nearest tram stop is 14–Arts Centre/St Kilda Rd (Southbank), accessed on routes 1, 3, 3a, 5, 6, 8, 16, 64, 67 and 72.

By Bike

MPavilion is located nearby the Main Yarra Trail. Bike hoop parking is available on St Kilda Road

By Car

Metered on-street parking is available on St Kilda Road. The nearest car park is located at the Arts Centre.
