What is the Infant Toddler Environment Rating Scale (ITERS)?
- The Infant Toddler Environment Rating Scale (ITERS) is the observational assessment tool designed to assess group programs for infant and toddler-aged children (Birth to 30 months).
- The ITERS tool has been internationally tested for reliability and validity in providing information about the quality of preschool programs, based on current research regarding positive child outcomes.
During this professional development participants will:
*Become familiar with subscales and items to fully understand the meaning and benefits of each subscale as it affects children and daily interactions.
*Identify common challenges
*Discuss best practices for implementing ITERS in the classroom
