Infant CPR/Infant Safety Midtown
Learn to safely and effectively administer CPR to infants and to save the life of a choking infant through the American Heart Associations Family and Friends CPR program. Each student will have the opportunity to practice administering CPR on infant mannequins. Every family will receive an AHA Family and Friends Student Handbook outlining the skills and techniques learned in class. Discussion topics include "back to sleep", providing your newborn essential tummy time safely, and tips related to contacting emergency services. Your instructor, Guy Baker RN, is a certified AHA CPR Instructor as well as an American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor.
