Infant CPR and First Aid: Camelback Women's Health Biltmore
Thu, May 11, 2017, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM MST
Disasters sometimes happen without any warning. Being prepared can mean the difference between a few scary moments and a lifetime of regret. When you see a baby choking, not breathing, or turning blue, you have only seconds to react before permanent damage is done. Knowing infant CPR will help empower you if you are ever faced with this type of emergency situation. First aid covers prevention and treatment of several of the most common types of injuries babies can experience.
This course is led by an American Heart Association certified CPR instructor and intended for those who want to learn CPR and first aid but don't need certification. It's ideal for new and expectant parents, grandparents, and anyone interested in learning these life-saving techniques.
Who can register for the class?
Anyone that desires the information and life-saving skills to perform infant CPR and first aid. Minimum age of 9 years old and cognitively able to watch, participate, and perform skills in an emergency situation.
