Robotics Concepts, Definitions, Technologies and Applications

Fast paced course for anyone who wants to understand what is Industrial Robotics.

Understand how Robotics will be changing the world of manufacturing and other areas, what the core technologies and systems are and how it is implemented by using robotics.

The course has 5 parts:

● Introduction of Industrial robotics

● Evolution of robotics

● 4 Pillars of robotics

● In depth on Industrial Robots

● Applications of robotics

We start by showing the step by step basic of robotics as we know the Industrial robotics. After this we take an in depth look at the many technologies that are part of robotics and automation process, describing their functions, technology requirements and how they are all combined into Industrial solutions and robotics applications.

Prerequisites and Target Audience

What will students need to know or do before starting this course?

Need some knowledge about the mechanical, electrical and Mechatronics systems for easy understanding and will also help to catch all the information which will be explain during the course, it would be great if the candidates having some basic programming skills to get the maximum outcome of the course program.

Module 1: Introduction to Robotics and Automation

Covers the opportunities of Robotics industry and shows the transformation of the conventional machine to the smart system with great functionality and describing the basic construction of the robot. After completion student will understand how robotics relates to the conventional machines and what the components will help to develop the smart machine.

Module 2: The Evolution of robotics with the 4 Pillars of robotics

This section describes how the robotics is evolved from conventional machine to the fully automatic system by using controllers, sensors and actuators. Also we will discuss that how the 4 Pillars are contributing their individual role in the robotics system generation.

Module 3: In depth on Industrial Robots and Applications of robotics

This section describes the technologies used in the Industrial Robots, types of the robots used in different applications, robot’s kinematics, robot’s coordinates systems, types of robots manufactures, robot’s calibrations, robot selections criteria’s and what are the real time applications of the robotics, advantages and disadvantages etc.
