Induction 101 Course

Nowadays, many obstetricians recommend inductions to the pregnant people in their care during third trimester appointments. You are usually veryyyy pregnant when this comes up.... up all night, uncomfortable and anxious to meet your baby! I think it is important to learn about induction of labor BEFORE you get to that point. In this class, you will learn the difference between medically necessary and elective inductions. You'll learn the common steps of inductions of labor and I will help you understand the risks and benefits of the different interventions and how to participate in shared decision making with your care provider when deciding whether or not to induce and also during an induction if you choose to have one.
