Event description

A top desire for many parents is to be able to communicate with their children at every phase of their development.

Even though parents work hard to do this, there are often disconnects that are difficult to navigate due to individual perspectives and challenges with common understandings.

As our children grow, develop, and mature, it is common for them to pull away from their parents. This is a challenging and painful stage between children and their parents, especially at a time when children need additional support, guidance, and love.

The Individual Connectedness virtual class provides tips and tools to help parents navigate this transitional stage with their children. The Individual Connectedness toolkit outlines a structure for repairing and strengthening bonds between parents and their children.

Individuality is shaped by the relationship you have with yourself. It’s how you see yourself, your personality, and what makes you tick.

Connectedness describes the relationship and bond between individuals, family, friends, or community groups.

Individual Connectedness is the way families use their individual talents, strengths, and desires to build strong connections as a thriving family.

Ways to communicate, find common understand, and bridge generational divides are provided during this virtual class.

Within Individual Connectedness, creativity is a key connector that provides an open platform for growth, expansive thinking, and bonds that foster effective communication. Participants will have access to creativity prompts, trigger identifiers, confidence building prompts, and interconnectedness exercises to strengthen bonds with their children.

During this online class, participants will learn:

  • The 5 components of Individual Connectedness

  • How to map out a family plan for communication

  • How to make a creativity wheel for stronger family bonds

  • How to have more fun and appreciate what it means to be in your family
