Event description

Description

The Trent Valley Association of Baptist Churches would like to invite you to a conference this fall. Join us in listening to Indigenous scholars, leaders, residential school, and 60’s scoop survivors.

We will learn about the history of Indigenous-Settler relations, engage in interactive exercises, and consider how we can respond to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, all with an eye towards restoring our relationship and walking the good way together.

”Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you find rest for your souls.” -Jeremiah 6:16
