Please join us for an Indic Talk & book launch of Hindol Sengupta's 'Being Hindu' followed by talk and book-signing.

Hindol Sengupta is the best-selling author of eight books including Being Hindu and The Modern Monk. 'Being Hindu' has just been published in the United States. He is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and a Knight-Bagehot Fellow at Columbia University. He is the youngest ever and the only Indian to be shortlisted for the Hayek Prize given by the Manhattan Institute in memory of the Nobel laureate F. A. Hayek. He is the youngest ever winner of the PSF Prize for Public Service which has among its earlier winners the late Indian scientist and President A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.

Indic Academy (IA) is a global, multi city, horizontal network of academics, authors, artists & activists involved in protecting, preserving, and promoting Indic Thought. It seeks to bring a renaissance by nurturing a network of Public Intellectuals and enabling their transformation into leaders of cultural thought and expression. IA also provides access to research, training, mentorship, and financial support Fellowship program. IA has given platforms to Indic intellectuals, thought leaders, authors and artists throughout the world including in the United States, India, Canada, Germany, UK, and Australia

Bharatiya Vichar Manch is a Los Angeles based intellectual forum. The forum's mission is to promote dialogue bywhich 'Dharmic' philosophy, culture, and traditions can positively influence global thought and action. The forum conducts monthly public lectures in Los Angeles area and invites thought leaders from around the world who are actively working in an area of interest to the Dharmic community. Most of the lectures are conducted in Cerrtios Public Library. The forum is a bridge between academia and the non-academic community. Several prominent professors, head of the departments, entrepreneurs, professionals and business leaders regularly attend the lectures, often with their family members. Mission - To promote dialogue by which Dharmic philosophy, culture, and traditions can positively influence global thought and action.
