INDIANAPOLIS SPORTS INDUSTRY CAREER CONFERENCE
February 24, 2017
HALL OF CHAMPIONS
700 West Washington Street
Indianapolis, IN 46204
Street and Smith's Sports Business Journal reported that on average, over 200 job seekers apply for each of the best internships and jobs in sport. Additionally, while over 94% of individuals trying to break into the sports industry rely on a cover letter and resume to land a job, only 7% of individuals are actually hired that way. In fact, individuals working in the sports industry generally networked their way into their jobs. Additionally, 50% of college graduating seniors and 63% of businesses hiring them said they are not ready to enter the work force. This conference is an opportunity for you to learn from and network with the Indianapolis area’s top professionals from college, professional and corporate sports. Representatives from local organizations and teams will be on hand to teach you what you need to know to start a career in the commercial sports industry.
