Join us in Indianapolis on April 30 - May 1 for a deep dive into the internationally acclaimed Indianapolis Cultural Trail: A Legacy of Gene and Marilyn Glick, an 8-mile linear park and bicycle and pedestrian path that has had a $1 billion economic impact on the local economy.

We'll start with an afternoon tour of the Cultural Trail on Monday, April 30th followed by a discussion and drinks, 3:00pm-6:30pm.

On Tuesday morning, May 1st, we will kick off our in-depth look at the Cultural Trail with presentations, panels, and discussion, including:

  • Panel discussions with Cultural Trail design and engineering team, City staff and curatorial advisor
  • Presentations on how the Cultural Trail came to life and it's initial economic impact
  • Cultural Trail management best practices and policy recommendations

The Indianapolis Cultural Trail symposium is taking place the day before the PlacesForBikes conference (http://placesforbikesconference.org) so that people can take advantage of both events in downtown Indianapolis the week of April 30 - May 3, 2018.
