Event description

About this Event

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 8th Annual Diversity Dinner & Reception hosted by the Black Law Students Association (BLSA), Hispanic Law Society (HLS), Asian Law Students Association (ALSA), Lambda Legal Society (Lambda) of the Indiana University - Robert H. McKinney School of Law. This event is designed to allow law students, attorneys, IU Law faculty, staff, alumni, and other members of the Indianapolis community to connect and build relationships with individuals and organizations that embrace and promote diversity.

The theme of this year's Diversity Dinner is based upon a quote by Vernā Myers, VP of Inclusion Strategy at Netflix and Founder of The Vernā Myers Company, " Diversity is being invited to the party; Inclusion is being asked to dance." We are honored to have the Honorable G. Michael Witte, Executive Secretary of the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission and the first Asian American to serve as judge in the State of Indiana, as our keynote speaker.
