Virtual Conference Details

Registration

• Participants must register through Eventbrite to gain access to ISLA21 Conference content.
• Indiana State Literacy Association members enjoy a special registration rate of $20. Members should enter their email address as a Promotional Code. Important: this needs to be the same address used when joining ISLA.
• To join Indiana State Literacy Association, please visit IndianaReads.org. Membership is $15 for one year.
• Email islastatepresident@gmail.com with requests for invoices.

Technology

• Live breakout sessions will be faciliated through Zoom. Participants will want to download Zoom to their computer or mobile device. Please visit the Zoom Download Center.
• Participants will access Zoom links by logging into the ISLA21 Conference website. Only registered participants will be able log into the ISLA21 Conference website.
• Indiana State Literacy Association encourages all Conference participants to create an ISLA21 Conference profile.

Accessibility

• Recorded sessions will have closed captioning.
• To request an ASL interpreter for a live breakout session, please email islastatepresident@gmail.com.
• Indiana State Literacy Association advises ISLA21 Conference presenters on how to make presentation slides more accessible for participants with vision impairments.

Professional Learning

• Indiana State Literacy Association is an ILA Affiliate. ISLA expects Conference presenters and participants to adhere to the ILA Code of Conduct for Meetings and Professional Events. ISLA reserves the right to remove anyone from a live breakout session for not adhering to the Code of Conduct.
• Professional growth points will be available to Conference participants at the conclusion of the Conference.
