Join us for the 23rd annual Indiana Economic Outlook at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 12 at the Horizon Convention Center.

Our program will begin with a buffet lunch and opening remarks by Richard Gill, co-owner of Gill Brothers and chair of the Ball State Business Roundtable, followed by Dr. Michael J. Hicks, director of Ball State University's Center for Business and Economic Research, who will provide a local, state and national forecast. Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Jennifer McCormick, State Superintendent of Public Instruction. A brief question & answer session with the audience will conclude our event.

Registration and payment is required in advance. Take advantage of early-bird rates and register by November 21. If you or any of your guests have special dietary needs, please let us know at the time of registration. Requests made after the deadline will incur a $25 fee. Unfortunately, we will be unable to accommodate dietary requests made within 72 hours of the event. Deadline to register is December 5.




Dr-Jennifer-McCormickDr. Jennifer McCormick is Indiana’s 44th Superintendent of Public Instruction. A nationally-recognized educator and innovator, Dr. McCormick has served at every level of the K-12 education system. She has been a secondary special education and language arts teacher, elementary principal, assistant superintendent, and served as superintendent for seven and a half years.

As Indiana’s education system leader, Dr. McCormick is an energetic and tireless advocate for children, dedicated to improving educational outcomes. A sought after speaker, Dr. McCormick serves as a devoted ambassador for ensuring all stakeholders are working together for student success in Indiana.

Dr. McCormick has served on a number of community boards and makes her home in Indianapolis with her husband, Trent, a public school science teacher. They have one son, Cael, who attends West Point Military Academy.
