About this event
The convention has been rescheduled to occur on Saturday, January 21st, 2023.
This year's theme is "Advocating for the Nurse", speakers will provide student attendees with knowledge they can use to be the best version of themselves in nursing school and into their professional nursing journeys.
Attire Is business casual.
Here are more details on what the convention offers students:
- Keynote speaker Shannon McPeek, the founder of Operation Happy Nurse, a non-profit dedicated towards nurse's mental health
- Speakers discussing nursing advocacy
- Nurses from various specialties will present, aiding students in discovering their best fit within nursing
- Workshop on resume design and workplace assessment
- Panel and Q&A session with recent nursing graduates
- Lunch is provided
- Vendors Including Eskenazi, IU Health, Franciscan, Mayo Clinic, and more
- Hurst Review Services is hosting a NCLEX review session during lunch and one attendee will be given a free NCLEX review package valued at $399!
- Kaplan is also giving away a free NCLEX review package to an attendee
- 3 attendees will win a prize bundle valued at $175 each!
