Julia Park, Managing Director - The Advantage America EB5 Group

Julia Park is the Managing Director of the Advantage America EB-5 Group (www.aaeb5.com) which operates 6 USCIS designated Regional Centers across US. Julia is also CEO of Multivista Securities LLC, a FINRA-registered broker-dealer, and Principal Attorney of the Law Offices of Julia Park, LLC. Julia began her legal career at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP where she practiced securities law. She also served as Of Counsel at Levitt & Needleman, P.C., an immigration firm. Prior to practicing law, Julia was a simultaneous interpreter in Seoul, Korea. As an interpreter, she facilitated communications in hundreds of seminars. Julia received a B.A. from Sogang University and an M.A. from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, both in Seoul, Korea. She received her J.D. from Boston College Law School, magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, where she was a Senior Editor of the Boston College Law Review.

Lian Brandt, Senior Manager - Baker Tilly Capital, LLC

Lian is a senior manager with Baker Tilly’s EB-5 consulting and broker-dealer practice and has been with the firm since 2006. In her current capacity she conducts due diligence on EB-5 projects, meets with investors to review EB-5 investments and assists with their source of funds documentation and immigration tax planning needs. Lian is a certified public accountant and holds a series 82 and 63 securities license with Baker Tilly Capital, the firm’s wholly owned FINRA member broker dealer.

DECO

Deco Capital, LLC is a real estate fund that has received approval from USCIS for its EB5 project for up to fifty EB5 applicants. The project has been approved by USCIS and authorized to use EB5 funds to acquire newly built residential units in Lennar’s new “cosmo-chic” community known as “Landmark”, located in Doral Florida- a city in Miami-Dade County that is inside the urban core known as “Greater Miami”. This is perhaps the first approved project that relies on the job creation activity of a third-party developer such as Lennar Homes. Deco Capital will receive up to $25 million in EB5 loan proceeds from Deco Funding, LLC, the entity in which each of the fifty investors will subscribe to, and become a member of. The loan will be repaid by Deco Capital to Deco Funding within 5-7 years, or as soon as all investors have filed to remove conditions on their conditional permanent residency.
