Event description

Description

Ready to add some spice to your life during the cold, dreary winter? Join us for a hands-on focusing on flavorful Indian cuisine.

Jeannette Martens, the owner of The Hungry Elephant Catering and Culinary Instruction, will be sharing some of her popular recipes for us to make and enjoy.

  • Red Lentil Dal and Basmati Brown Rice

  • Cabbage and Chana (Chickpeas)

  • Vegetable Korma

  • Beet Bhaji Salad

  • Cucumber Raita

  • Dosas (similar to crepes)

  • Chutney

If you have tender tastebuds, or if you like your food extra spicy, we will have options for accommodating various spice levels in the food.

All the food will be gluten-free and vegan.

You will get a full meal, not bite-size samples.

** Space is limited for this hands-on class.

*** Register now to reserve your spot for the January class.

Some of the benefits you'll receive:

  • Taste the deliciousness of plant-based eating.

  • Get hands-on experience with whole-food ingredients.

  • Boost your confidence with preparing plant-based foods.

  • Learn kitchen hacks for making healthy meals easier and faster.

  • Connect with others on the journey to a healthier lifestyle.

We meet monthly on the fourth Monday, except December.
