Event description

Description

The United States has readily embraced India's rising economic and military capabilities. Sharing democratic ideals, the two countries seem like natural allies in an evolving geopolitical landscape. However, India's geopolitical outlook does't exactly match that of the U.S.'s. It actually is much closer to that of Russia's - a traditional Indian ally. What does this mean for future U.S. policy towards India and Russia? More importantly, how will the U.S. navigate an increasingly multipolar world as India, Russia, and others gain prominence?

Join us for a mini-lecture and discussion event over some delicious Indian food at Lemon Cuisine in DuPont Circle. The lecture will last about 10-15 minutes, followed by a discussion on all things India, Russia, and U.S. strategy.
