Join us for an evening of discovery into novel, revolutionary results in regenerative medicine and their
implications for health and society, with talks from experts in the field, followed by a Q&A session & drinks.

- Prof Michele De Luca is Director of the Centre of Regenerative Medicine “Stefano Ferrari” and Professor at the University of Modena. He is internationally recognised as a leading scientist in stem cell biology. He pioneered clinical translation of epithelial cell biology for life-saving treatments and recently successfully cured a “butterfly”
child.

- Dr Sarah Chan is Chancellor Fellow at the University of Edinburgh. She is an internationally known expert in the ethics of stem cell research. Her interests and publications cover areas including gene therapy, genetic modification and human enhancement.

The discussion will be moderated by Prof Giulio Cossu, Constance Thornley Professor of Regenerative Medicine at the University of Manchester. He is internationally recognized for his work on muscle development and has pioneered stem cell treatments for muscular dystrophy .
