Bill Alderson is Founder and Chief Technology Officer of HOPZERO, an enterprise-focused internet security company based in Austin, Texas working out of IncubatorCTX. Firewalls focus on keeping things out; HOPZERO focuses on keeping your company's data inside the organization. Kerry Keller, former CIO of US Strategic Command calls HOPZERO “a game-changing way of turning the tables on would-be attackers.”

In his talk "Finding Your Cyber Security Programs Most Vital Mission", Bill will discuss the key components and all you need to know about protecting your data and preventing would-be attackers.

Founded in just 2017, HOPZERO has taken off, introducing HopSphere Radius Security which prevents data exfiltration. Alderson’s company is determined to secure corporate industry, government, utilities, military, insurance, financial and healthcare enterprise environments from internal and external threats.

Some of Bill's proudest career moments are below:

  • Called to the Pentagon immediately following 9/11 to help recover degraded communications applying network forensics.

  • Deployed six times as a civilian with USCENTCOM to Iraq and Afghanistan, at Joint Chiefs request, to troubleshoot global network intelligence and biometric systems and software.

  • Assisted US Stock Markets, diagnose and successfully defend DDOS attacks by finding and defining the exact attack pattern using deep packet network forensic theory and skills.

  • Certified over 3000 NetAnalyst Professionals from 27 countries in Network Forensics and Security.
