This is a conference collaborative effort between Incredible Ely, The University of Minnesota Duluth Center for Economic Development and The Entrepreneur Fund.

Be inspired, energized and learn from some of the best experts on small business growth and development in the state!

Pre-Conference Activity - Wednesday, November 1

OWN It! Coaching Group for Entrepreneurs - Join us from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.

Entrepreneurs are creative, resilient and tough-as-nails. But we can still use a little help from our friends from time to time. Join Board Certified Coach Sarah VanderMeiden, M.S., BCC as she facilitates a coaching group for entrepreneurs attending the Small Business Conference. The group, through mutual support, encouragement and coaching, will focus on clarifying steps members can take to help their businesses thrive. Participants must be available to meet from 3:30 to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 1. Space is limited – so be sure to reserve your spot today on the Registration Page.

Wednesday, November 1 - Keynote and Networking

The conference officially begins Wednesday evening at 5:00 with Happy Hour, Food Stations and Networking!

You won't want to miss this year's keynote address by Jim Bensen who is an innovative leader, consultant of change, and international speaker. Conference attendees will hear first-hand how Bensen spear-headed a venture called “Bemidji Leads!”. This 15-year-effort, supported by hundreds of volunteers, transformed Bemidji into a thriving epicenter in the western region of the state.

Bensen’s leadership and inspirational message will emphasize the importance of small business owners and their impact on their community. Bensen states, "The first 100 years of this nation was built on who could have the biggest farm, the second 100 years on who had the biggest factory. But the next 100 years will be on who has the best ideas".

Thursday, November 2 - Full Day of Sessions!

Start the morning off with Lucie B. Amundsen -- writer, marketer and reluctant farmer. She and her husband co-own Locally Laid Egg Company.
