About the presentation
Driven by publish-or-perish guidelines and the pressure to conduct studies with high efficiency, all while navigating the current nouveau-influencer environment, researchers must use innovative approaches to disseminate knowledge to populations that place less trust in older institutions. In this seminar we will discuss how an ethical framework can be applied to KT design for increased uptake by our target audience. We will explore:
-
the major ethical frameworks appropriate for KT design,
-
the key element for effective KT, and
-
the relevant vehicles for ethical KT towards members of the general public.
