“The Partnership on Inclusive Apprenticeship (PIA) collaborates with employers and apprenticeship intermediaries to design inclusive apprenticeship programs that meet employer talent needs and enable people with disabilities to gain credentials and skills to succeed in growing industries. The four ways PIA accomplishes its work is through collaboration, creating opportunities, focusing on policy, and providing resources.

Self-identification and disclosure are important elements of apprenticeship data. PIA is planning a webinar to discuss the benefits to employers on encouraging apprentices to self-identify, resources for how to best collect information, and why it is important to workforce policy.

PIA is funded by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) and managed by Wheelhouse Group.”
