Event description

Description

“Social fabric is created one room at a time, the one we are in at the moment…” In this conversation, we will explore the incremental process of valuing diversity, to facilitating inclusion, to fostering true belonging, and the powerful effect of this process at every level of human engagement: personal, familial, professional, and societal. We will examine how to develop deeply connected communities as we create daily experiences and organizational objectives by asking thoughtful questions and actively listening to the responses. Lastly, we will discuss shaping the spaces for our conversations to be places of empathy, civility, humility, patience, and hospitality.

I invite you to join me for this third in a four part series of conversations where we will explore our capacity for authentic leadership and its impact on every level of our community: our selves, our families, our workplaces, and our social/service organizations. Consider yourself my guest for an informal reception, followed by a brief presentation and subsequent discussion, hosted at The Healing House in downtown Covington.

This sequence of conversations is designed for each topic to build upon the previous, so while I encourage you to register for the whole series, you may commit to individual dates as your schedule permits. Each 30 minute presentation and 15 minute discussion will be freestanding.

6:00p-6:30p Registration & Reception

These conversations are free and open to the public, although registration is required. Space is limited to 20 seats, and will be offered to the first 20 registrants.
