Event description

Inclusion by Design is an amazing.community conference series uniting the public, private and civic sectors to create a more inclusive workplace for women 50+

Inclusion By Design: Equal Pay Day is a half a day conference and is amazing.community’s second conference to be held in NYC. This conference provides the opportunity for all of us to focus on the topic of pay equity in the workplace, especially for women 50+.

Through a keynote and an expert panel we will learn about the state of pay equity at this moment and learn what works, and how organizations can have a tangible impact on pay equity.

We will also hold workshops where we will learn skills that can help us narrow the pay gap, including salary negotiation and public speaking skills to influence changes in your careers, your pay, or whatever goals you pursue.

Inclusion by Design: Equal Pay Day provides a platform for women 50+ and business leaders to meet, learn new skills, form relationships, and brainstorm strategies and solutions for collaboratively building the future and bringing pay equity to the workplace.

Who is attending?

If you are...

  • an amazing woman looking to extend your work horizon and ready to prove how much talent and dedication women have to offer to the modern workplace

  • a business leader or a talent manager committed to make a change in pay equity at your organization

  • in search of a supportive, fun community and stimulating learning environment

  • ready to create real solutions and enable actions to change the workplace narrative at the intersection of gender and age

... then this event is for you!

We are inviting business leaders, HR leaders, Inclusion and Diversity, philanthropy, non-profits or organizations that have something to do with women/age related topics, and of course - women.

Equal Pay Day was originated by the National Committee on Pay Equity (NCPE) in 1996 as a public awareness event to illustrate the gap between men's and women's wages and it symbolizes how far into the year women must work to earn what men earned in the previous year.
