INCLUDEnyc Live - Supported Decision Making: An Alternative to Guardianship for People with Disabilities

INCLUDEnyc Live: Online conversations about parenting and disability

What happens when young people with developmental disabilities become legal adults? Who will make decisions for them if/when they cannot? There are alternatives to guardianship. Join our conversation with Supported Decision Making New York (SDMNY) as we challenge the widespread assumption that all people with developmental disabilities require guardianship when they reach age 18.

Host: Kaitlin Roh, INCLUDEnyc Family Educator

Special Guest: Kristin Booth Glen, University Professor and Dean Emerita at CUNY School of Law
