Check out the video!

Meet the team of responders from VDOT, law enforcement, fire rescue, towing, and more at our Incident Management Open House on Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at VDOT's Northern Virginia District Office, located at 4975 Alliance Drive in Fairfax. This is a free event!

An outdoor touch-a-truck exhibit with 50+ pieces of apparatus will feature a simulated crash scene to help the public see an incident from the perspective of first responders who work in the roadway every day. Attendees can watch live demonstrations of K-9 skills, patient extrication, towing recovery, drone operations, and tree removal. Outdoor exhibit participating agencies include:

Head to the indoor expo to check out the technology that is used to monitor traffic in the region by our Transportation Operations Center and Metropolitan Area Transportation Operations Coordination (MATOC), and learn about the Federal Highway Administration's Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP II) training.
