ATTENTION: This is a 2-Day ICS Training Wednesday, November 8 and Thursday, November 9, 2017 with times on both days from 8:30 am -12:30 pm. Please Register for Wednesday November 8, 2017 you will then be registered for both Wednesday and Thursday, Novbember 8-9th. If you will be attending only ONE of the 2-Days (Wed or Thurs) please email : Christinewarren@utah.gov providing the day you will be attending.

Course Description: This course is a "quick-start" Incident Command System (ICS) Training in line with the FEMA Emergency Management Institute's (EMI) Hospital & Public Safety ICS 100-200-700 Course Training. The ICS 100-200 training will include a condensed EMI Hospital ICS 100-200 course on Wednesday and Thursday, FEMA Public Safety ICS-700 with a Public Health focus activities. All ICS courses will be a condensed version of the EMI ICS 100-200-700 course. As time permits, participants will have the opportunity to take EMI's on-line ICS 100-200-700 Certification Tests to complete the certification. The quick start ICS Training will focus on the effectiveness and application of the ICS system for Hospital and Public Health responses to emergency disasters, i.e., mass casualties, pandemics and infectious disease outbreaks. The overall goal of the quick-start ICS Training is to provide attendees the basic information and function of ICS in emergency disasters demonstrating the effective application of ICS in a hospital and public health response; in addition, the knowledge to complete the EMI ICS 100-200-700 Certification Tests.
