Inaugural Heroes and Legends Charity Golf Classic

Join us for the Inaugural Military Heroes and NFL Legends Charity Golf Classic, on Monday, July 10, 2023 for the opportunity to play alongside heroes & legends.

For the Inaugural Heroes and Legends Charity Golf Classic we are able to bring together our NFL Alumni Legends and our Military Heroes/Gold Star Mothers for a fun day of golf at Lansdowne Resort. Our honorary chairs for this event are Medal of Honor Recipient Matt Williams and NFL MVP, Superbowl Champion Mark Moseley who will be joining other NFL Alumni such as Ken Harvey, Rick “Doc” Walker, Billy Kilmer, Kyle Arrington and Bubba Tyer to name a few. For the military Heroes side joining Matt Williams will be Navy SEALs, Green Berets, Army Rangers as well as purple heart recipient and gold star mothers and wives.

The Tournament is a net scramble format with a Legend and Hero celebrity Team Captain leading each foursome. Carts, breakfast, food and beverages on the course, banquet, and deluxe player gift package are all included. The event features great team prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place (one-hole, shootout playoff for the top four teams) along with incredible experiences to include longest drive contest while wearing a bomb suit, military demonstrations and so much more .The Inaugural Heroes and Legends Charity Golf Classic is a qualifier for the NFL Alumni Association Super Bowl of Golf! The winning team will receive an all expense paid trip to play in the Super Bowl of Golf in Sept.

The Veteran Success Resource Group Foundation holds Military Family Markets across the country to provide food kits, diapers and household goods for Military Families that are experiencing Food Insecurity. IN 2022 40% of active duty enlisted families were facing food insecurity. There is no reason that those who serve cannot provide food or diapers for their families.

The DC Alumni Association was formed in 1959 with the mission to improve the quality of life for the youth of the community. The mission of the DC Alumni Association is “Caring for Kids” and over the last 50 plus years the Alumni have given over $1.5 million to youth charities in the local area.
