Advancing Genomics into Clinical Practice: Perspectives, Challenges and Opportunities
The Garvan Institute of Medical Research is proud to announce the Annual Australian Clinical Genomics Symposium to be held on the 19- 20 November in Sydney.
As part of our ongoing commitment to decrease the gap between genomic research and the clinic, we invite you to attend this informative symposium that will highlight best practice and challenges facing the implementation of genomics in clinical practice.
At the Inaugural Annual Australian Clinical Genomics Symposium, we will update and inform you on the latest developments in genomic medicine. We bring together respected local and international speakers to share perspectives, case experiences and to investigate the latest strategies for integrating clinical genomics into daily practice.
Also, we will address key topics including the strengths and weaknesses of current genetic and genomic tests, when sequencing should be applied in a patient’s journey, variant curation and reporting as well as management of patients’ experiences and expectations.
We look forward to seeing you at the Inaugural Australian Annual Clinical Genomics Symposium in Sydney.
