About this event
In Their Own Words, The Baltimore Playwrights Festival Presents a Free Fall Performance on October 27th, 2021 at 8 p.m., Fells Point Corner Theatre. Selections will include:
A writer whose emotions suddenly manifest as living beings
A job interview at a prestigious girls’ school with undercurrents of tragedy
A comedy based on the true story of a famous painting stolen from a Baltimore home
An epiphany in Haiti for a disillusioned Christian missionary from Maryland.
and four more outstanding excerpts from the 2021 season's submissions.
Please join us as directors and actors present scenes from new plays by area playwrights in a book-in-hand staged reading format. The readings will be rehearsed, have movement, lighting, props and costuming. COVID Protocols: For your safety, all patrons will be required to show proof of full vaccination or a negative test within 72 hours to gain entry. Masking is required while inside and all patrons will have their temperature taken upon entry. Actors will not be masked. More information at www.fpct.org/health-safety.
