In The Classroom: Engage Identity to Enhance Learning
Friday, February 21, 2014
The Faculty Center
600 S. Michigan Ave, 8th Floor
Do you have a hard time getting all students to talk during in-class discussion? How do you get students to listen to each other and express their points of view while keeping a difficult conversation focused on the learning goals of the course? This day-long, interactive workshop, co-facilitated by Columbia College faculty, will model effective ways to spark and lead difficult dialogues in the classroom.
Coffee and lunch will be provided.
Part-time faculty who participate in the entire workshop will receive a modest stipend.
